SILENCE. Exhibition featuring Henri van Noordenburg & Eryn Begley.
Opening Friday 13 July 6:30pm ~ 9:30pm
Artist Talk: 4 August 12noon ~ 1pm
Exhibition Dates: 12 July ~ 11 August 2012
This exhibition includes solo and collaborated works concentrating on the theme of silence created around religion, family dispute, and migration.
Henri’s work is created by hand carving into a photographic print, with these one off artworks being influenced by etchings of the Dutch masters and questioning masculinity as well as one’s sense of belonging.
Eryn’s sculptural assemblages incorporate reworking old books, found objects, and antique family photography, utilising techniques and processes common in jewellery/metalwork studio practice.
