Cannes showcasing GFS Films

Cannes Film Festival to showcase Griffith Film School’s ‘Picture of War‘, ‘Maxwell and Sierra and the Inside Out‘, and ‘The Red Garden.’

Three short films created by Griffith Film School students have been selected to be played at the Festival de Cannes Short Film Corner.

A Picture of War, directed by Kristy Campbell and produced by Rachael Janssen, depicts a recently retired war photographer struggling to cope with the haunting memories behind his photographs when he faces them at his last exhibition.

Maxwell and Sierra and the Inside Out, directed by Hannah Ariotti, follows a young woman on her extraordinary journey in search of her missing boyfriend. On her way, she discovers an enigma that will change the way she lives forever.

The Red Garden, directed by Celia Finter and produced by Joanne Lyon, is a striking film with a psychological storyline that poses the question, ‘what if even your imaginary friends didn’t want to play with you?”

The Cannes Short Film Corner is held during the Cannes Film Festival from May 11 to 22.
